Rio reaches around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our primary goal is to fulfill the commands of Jesus listed in Matthew 25 and Luke 4, meeting the needs of the poor, distressed, and lost. From the war-torn country of Sudan to the jungles of Peru, we work around the globe to reach people who might otherwise never know Jesus.

We are RIO believe in putting action to the words of Jesus, which we do by meeting the physical needs of people as well as their spiritual needs. In the poverty-stricken country of Haiti, we deliver rice and beans to orphans and those in need while we preach the gospel to those in prison. In Peru and Panama, we provide toiletry items for prisoners and share the good news of Jesus. In Brazil and Peru, we provide water filter systems or wells, allowing families and villages to have clean drinking water as well as the water of life. By purchasing the freedom of slaves in Sudan, we open doors for families to be reunited and to live in complete freedom. By building churches in foreign countries, we provide stability and continuity for believers, and we let them know that we are serious about investing in their futures. In mass crusades around the world from South America to Africa, we see thousands surrender their lives to the Lord. From adult teams that travel hours by foot into the Darien Gap of Panama to teen groups that lead crusades to thousands, we go where others won't go, do what others won't do, and reach those that others aren't reaching.

Our work in the United States of America is just as intense. Repeated mission teams from RIO minister in the flood-ravaged areas of Louisiana, helping families pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives and souls following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Teams from our Youth Ministries invaded New York City, actively ministering in one-on-one and group opportunities to many who were directly affected by the 9/11 attacks. From ministering to the Native Americans in New Mexico to the poverty-stricken residents of the Appalachian Mountains, our teams are always looking for new opportunities to put the Great Commission into action.
