 We are here to worship, our services are dedicated to Praise and Adoration of the Mighty God that we serve. Our Praise and Worship team leads us into God's presence during each service. The ministry of God's Word builds our faith through encouragemen of a right now message from God, fresh Manna. Here at RIO North we believe in "WALKING IT OUT" on a daily basis, we encourage believers to put one foot in front of the other and walk out the purpose God has for their lives. Along with our awesome adult service we also have great Children's services with the most exciting games and lessons available for today's kids. The RIO North Extreme Youth are on fire for God and meet every Wednesday Night. RIO North has small groups that meet weekly for any age.
RIO North was birthed three years ago, with the vision of being able to reach our community for Jesus Christ. Our first beginnings were small but attendance quickly grew and mighty things have happened since.
Small Groups
If you are looking for a way to meet new people then cells for you. You can mature in your Christian walk and experience evangelism on a weekly basis. These groups meet in homes, restaurants, and multiple other places, and are centered around helping one another to be successful as Christians.

 Missions Ministry
Here at RIO North we about going out beyond our four walls and ministering to the lost. There is a passion at RIO North to go and minister, we believe that it is the heart of God to reach out beyond our four walls. Through the RIO Network we have traveled all around the world this year, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, New York and New Orleans.
RIO North has made a special heart connection with the people of New Orleans since the disaster of Hurricane Katrina. We have mission teams traveling down to Louisiana three to four times a year helping in any way possible. The devastation was enormous and we want the people to know we have not forgotten them and will continue to come.
Children's Ministries
Here at RIO North we have a special emphasis on Praise and Worship in our Children s Church. We want to encourage children to reliaze who they are in God, we want the children to learn to be a productive member of the church, a solider of God and to know that they are saved. Our goal is to get them plugged in to whatever their special place is in God.
The purpose of RIO North s Children s Ministry is to expose all children to God s love, to exalt God through a worship life, to enjoy other believers, and to equip them to experience the work of the ministry. The children are ministered to through praise and worship, puppet skits, clown skits, games, and they here a message from God that pertains their lives.

Nursery Ministry
"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in My name welcomes me."
- Our Nurseries are located in the lower level of the church building.
- Nursery care is provided for all children birth through 4 years old.
- The Nursery is available during all regularly scheduled hours.
Our Goal
We consider every child a blessing and promise from the Lord. It is our desire to serve the parents and the child as we would serve Christ. We attempt to provide comfortable environment so your child may feel happy and loved. The seeds of later trust in God are rooted in an early positive experience at church.
Check-in Procedure
- We ask that you sign your child in and out of nursery.
- Please fill in the time of drop off and pick up.
- Please give the nursery staff any vital information such as food allergy reminders.
Safety Measures
- The nursery is supervised by a volunteer worker.
- Each nursery worker has completed a thorough application and this is kept on file at RIO Central Offices.
- Our Nursery Director is trained in CPR if she is ever needed.
- Children with known illnesses are not permitted in the nursery.
- The Nursery volunteer's will let parents know if their child has an accident while staying in the nursery.
 Nursing Mothers
RIO North has an infant room for mothers who want to nurse their infants in a more private setting. The room has a cushioned rocker for your comfort. This room is found downstairs.
Nursery Alternatives
Some Parents may prefer to keep their young children with them during service. Infants and young children are always welcome in the Sanctuary during the service. Please be aware of the noise level of your youngster, however, even happy noises can distract people around you from worship.
Our Cooperative Nursery
RIO North's nursery is a cooperative effort. We ask that parents placing a child in the nursery volunteer to work in the nursery on a rotational basis. Before serving, you will be asked to complete our application process and have attended RIO North for at least six months.
